For sick or aging pets, we may recommend palliative care to help keep them comfortable as their disease progresses. Like any of our treatments at Champion Wood Animal Hospital, palliative care is tailored to suit the needs of your pet.
Treatment plans may include:
Nutritional support
Antibiotics
IV fluids
Anti-inflammatory drugs or opioids
Diuretics
Surgical procedures
We don’t want your pet to suffer. We’ll work with you to identify the best course of action based on their specific needs, and help you make decisions to make your pet’s final days as painless as possible.
